Correction: AP NW Photo Contest story

SEATTLE (AP) - In a story Sept. 19 about Associated Press photo award winners, The AP reported erroneously the newspaper that Timothy J. Gonzalez worked for. He works for the Statesman Journal.

A corrected version of the story is below:

SEATTLE (AP) _ The winners of the 2013 Associated Press Northwest photo contest, announced Thursday at the annual meeting of the Pacific Northwest Newspaper Association.

The Cowles trophy, awarded each year since 1952, is named for William Hutchison Cowles, former publisher of The Spokesman-Review. The Blackburn award is named for a photographer for The Columbian newspaper of Vancouver who was killed in the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens.
