Woman's body found in Spokane Valley vacant lot

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (AP) - A woman's body was discovered Thursday morning in a Spokane Valley vacant lot, and sheriff's deputies are investigating the death as a possible homicide.

Deputy Craig Chamberlin says the body was found by a man taking a walk.

The Spokesman-Review reports ( http://bit.ly/16txE7U) the vacant lot is in a residential neighborhood near Interstate 90.
