EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - A new psychiatric hospital is being proposed for Snohomish County with an inpatient unit for children and adolescents.

The Daily Herald reports ( http://is.gd/Epk8AE) Texas-based US HealthVest plans to build a $18.8 million 75-bed facility in Smokey Point. If it receives approval from the state health department, the facility could open in late 2015 or 2016.
