SEATTLE (AP) - King County prosecutors filed a robbery charge Wednesday against a 13-year-old boy accused in the beating of a security guard July 18 in Seattle's Westlake Park.
The prosecutor's office says the victim was beaten unconscious by several people and while he was on the ground the 13-year-old kicked him in the head and tried to steal his wallet.
The same teen is charged with assault and theft in a separate assault and theft on August 18 in downtown Seattle.
He's held in juvenile detention.
