Teen in crash with King County deputy diesOctober 21, 2013 @ 12:54 pm
SEATTLE (AP) - The King County sheriff's office says a 17-year-old involved in a collision with a deputy's patrol car early Sunday in Kent has died of his injuries.
Sgt. Cindi West says he died Sunday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She says two other teens in his car were treated at a hospital and released. The deputy suffered a sprained wrist.
The cars collided at an intersection and the crash remains under investigation. West says the deputy had a green light. One of the surviving passengers in the other car said they had been racing.
