COLFAX, Wash. (AP) - The Whitman County sheriff's office says a 12-year-old Pullman boy who was seriously wounded in a hunting accident is expected to survive.
The sheriff's office says the boy was shot accidentally Saturday morning while hunting with members of his family.
He was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
The state Fish and Wildlife Department is investigating the shooting.
