Damaged Pasco school building 'on schedule'November 5, 2013 @ 5:07 am
PASCO, Wash. (AP) - The Pasco School District says construction of a new school can remain on schedule despite damage from the weekend windstorm.
Gusts nearing 60 mph took down part of the frame and bent metal roof beams.
KVEW reports ( http://bit.ly/HtBzG3) the contractor meet with the school district and they believe the elementary school will be ready to open in September.
Work had started in June on the school funded by a $47 million bond approved by voters in February.
