Hoquiam bans e-cigarettes in city buildingsDecember 24, 2013 @ 8:13 am
HOQUIAM, Wash. (AP) - The city of Hoquiam has passed an ordinance banning the use of e-cigarettes in city buildings.
City Administrator Brian Shay says Grays Harbor county as well as other counties including Pierce and King treat the electronic vaporizers like regular cigarettes, banning their use indoors in public places.
KBKW reports Shay said the city council's decision is not a judgment on the legality e-cigarettes or their health risks.
