Foggy forecast in Washington

SEATTLE (AP) - Forecasters say the weather across Washington the next few days will be foggy in many areas with stagnant air.

The National Weather Service has an air stagnation advisory in effect until Saturday morning in the Puget Sound lowlands. An air stagnation advisory also covers most of Eastern Washington.

Some of the best weather the next couple of days may be on the Washington coast with sun and highs in the 50s.

Forecasters say there's a chance of light showers over the weekend but dry weather is expected to return on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and into next week.

The forecast for Sunday in Seattle, where the Seahawks are playing San Francisco in an NFL playoff game, is for a chance of light showers with temperatures in the upper 40s.
