3 Snohomish sheriff's cars damaged in chase, crash

TULALIP, Wash. (AP) - A fleeing driver rammed three Snohomish County sheriff's patrol cars in a chase Monday morning that ended at Tulalip (too-LAY'-lihp).

The sheriff's office says the chase began when deputies tried to pull over a vehicle that was reportedly used earlier this month in an espresso stand armed robbery.

Deputies tried to force the fleeing vehicle to spin out and it finally rolled over on the side of the road.

A 32-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested. They were not injured.
