Derelict vessel law signed by Gov. Inslee

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) -- Washington Gov. Jay Inslee signed legislation Wednesday to give the state more power to remove derelict vessels from state waterways.

The legislation was requested by the state Department of Natural Resources to head off pollution and cleanup problems created by abandoned vessels.
