KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) -- A police dog was hit by a vehicle while tracking a suspect early Friday in Kirkland.
The dog named Thor suffered a bump on the head and was taken a veterinary clinic. He's expected to recover.
KIRO reports (http://bit.ly/1lFvbgJ) the driver was not believed to be at fault.
The suspect who was wanted in connection with an assault was found and arrested a short time later.
