Man dies, woman injured in Auburn car collisionJune 8, 2014 @ 11:09 am (Updated: 12:52 pm - 6/8/14 )
AUBURN, Wash. (AP) -- Auburn police say one man was killed and a woman was critically injured in a single vehicle car crash on Sunday in Auburn.
Commander Mike Hirman says it appears the man who died was not wearing a seatbelt. He says the man and woman are in their early forties.
Hirman says the car was traveling on an Auburn street around 2 a.m. on Sunday when it struck a power pole, shattering the front of the car.
He says the investigation is on-going and they don't know yet if speed, alcohol or drugs played a role.
