Woman, 2 roommates beaten by trio of intruders

LAKE FOREST PARK, Wash. (AP) -- A woman and her two roommates were beaten in their apartment in the Seattle suburb of Lake Forest Park by a trio of men that police believe included the woman's angry ex-boyfriend.

KOMO-TV reports (http://is.gd/RJ3CQK ) the attack happened early Tuesday morning.

The victims told police that two of the intruders had handguns and began pistol whipping the roommates, who had been asleep.

Lake Forest Park Police Chief Steve Sutton says the attackers threatened to kill the roommates before they left.

Sutton says the ex-boyfriend still had a key to the apartment.

One victim was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are looking for the attackers.
