Mostly dry holiday weekend forecast for Washington

SEATTLE (AP) -- The National Weather Service says the holiday weekend should be mostly dry across the state with high temperatures in the 60s and 70s in Western Washington and 80s and 90s in Eastern Washington.

The pattern is morning clouds with afternoon clearing in Western Washington with a chance of showers Sunday on the coast and northwest interior.

Forecasters say Eastern Washington will be partly cloudy with lots of warm sunshine.
