SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- The daughter of Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich (kuh-NEZ-oh-vich) has been hospitalized after a firefighting accident in Wyoming.

Jessica Knezovich is the acting fire chief of Sweetwater County in Wyoming.

KHQ-TV reports that on Monday afternoon she was fighting a fire in the Red Desert area. As she was working on a downed tree, it flared back up.
