Seattle police investigate double homicide

SEATTLE (AP) -- Seattle police say they've arrested a man after two bodies were discovered Saturday near the Duwamish River.

Police say the bodies of a man and woman had similar injuries. The man had "severe head trauma."

The first body was discovered by a man walking his dog. The woman's body was discovered later that day. Investigators think the man was assaulted somewhere else and brought to the spot where he was discovered.

Police say witnesses were able to describe a suspicious car. Officers served a warrant on Saturday and arrested a man.

There weren't other details available Sunday.
