3 bodies found on farm; sheriff suspects homicide

FINLEY, Wash. (AP) -- The Benton County Sheriff's Office says three bodies were found Saturday morning on a farm south of Finley.

The sheriff's office says the deaths are being investigated as a triple homicide.

The Tri-City Herald (http://bit.ly/1yiqkUi ) reports that authorities say a farmworker found two people dead near a cornfield about 6 a.m.

Benton County Sheriff's Lt. Chuck Jones says deputies arrived soon after and found a third body. Jones says that all were on farmland off Nine Canyon Road, southeast of the intersection with Coffin Road.

Benton County Coroner John Hansens says the names of the victims were not being released because family has yet to be notified.

Hansens says an autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
