Girl dies after fall from 3rd floor Seattle window

SEATTLE (AP) -- A 2-year-old girl has died after she fell from a third-story window Tuesday evening at an apartment complex in a north Seattle neighborhood.

The Seattle Times reports the little girl landed on concrete.

Seattle Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore says medics performed CPR as the child was taken to Harborview Medical Center. She was pronounced dead.

Moore says Seattle police are investigating.
