RICHLAND, Wash. (AP) - A man who was convicted of growing 1,300 marijuana plants at the Tri-Cities was sentenced in federal court in Richland to 20 years in prison.
The U.S. attorney's office says 25-year-old Antonio Aguilar-Lopez received the mandatory term due to a prior felony drug trafficking conviction in Idaho.
KVEW reports he also was sentenced to 10 months in prison for being in the United States illegally after being deported to Mexico. He'll be deported again after his prison term.
