Senate roll vote on 'fiscal cliff' deal

(AP) - The 89-8 roll call Tuesday by which the Senate passed the Job Protection and Recession Prevention Act of 2012, which broke the "fiscal cliff" stalemate.
A "yes" vote is a vote to pass the bill.
Voting yes were 47 Democrats, 40 Republicans and 2 independents.
Voting no were 3 Democrats and 5 Republicans.
