Boehner says he 'absolutely' trusts Obama

FILE – In this March 13, 2013 file photo the House Speaker, Republican John Boehner of Ohio, talks to reporters on Capitol Hill in Washington after a closed-door meeting with President Barack Obama to discuss the budget. On Sunday, March 17, 2013, Boehner said he "absolutely" trusts Obama, not that they don't have their differences. He told ABC's "This Week" that the two have a good relationship and that they're "open with each other ... honest with each other." But they're trying to bridge some big differences, he said. WASHINGTON (AP) - House Speaker John Boehner says he "absolutely" trusts President Barack Obama _ not that they don't have their differences.

Boehner tells ABC's "This Week" that the two have a good relationship and that they're "open with each other ... honest with each other." But the Ohio lawmaker says they're trying to bridge some big differences.

One issue they agree on: The U.S. doesn't have an immediate crisis in terms of debt.

Some conservatives criticized Obama when he said last week that the country doesn't have an immediate debt crisis.

Boehner says a debt crisis does loom in the years ahead because entitlement programs are not sustainable if they aren't changed.

He says balancing the budget will help the economy.

How do they figure? Then why did Obama shut down white house tours? It must be immediate if Obama needs to go to those extremes to save $18,000 a day....meanwhile my neighbor who gets a monthly check for ADD spends it on pot and an inboard dash DVD player for his car. I get to work and support my neighbors entitlement program benefits that he "depends on" while I scrimp and have to buy my kids close at value village? When did this country get so messed up and backwards? This is why I can not support liberals and democrats...you support and reward people who DO NOT DESERVE it and abuse and neglect the people who NEED their tax money to support their own families!!!!! It literally makes me sick to my stomach seeing these people waste and abuse our tax dollars!

    Exactly Seattle
I dont know if its the norm, but I see people using foodstamps in my wifes store when I go meet her for lunch or shop there. They use their food stamps to buy meats I cant afford, while using their Welfare debt to buy mounds of pop, candy etc all the while chatting on their I-phone and taking their goods out to their fairly new car.

    The White House Tours
President Obama really didn't shut down the White House tours you just have to have $500,000.00 to "donate" to the administration I wouldn't trust with a book of matches.

    SICK
That is why you cannot support liberals or democrats because of your neighbor? Well, let me give you an example of my neighbor that abuses tax write offs, who by the way is a staunch republican. He will use appliances that were supposed to be used for commercial businesses and puts them in his home for practically nothing. Now that is why I cannot support conservatives and republicans... they support and reward people WHO DO NOT DESERVE IT and abuse and neglect the honest people that follow the rules. Sound ridiculous? It is and so is your argument. There will always be some that abuse the system and we would all like to them get caught and punished.

    EXPENSES
That is what I meant to say instead of tax write offs. They have foolishly told me all of the tricks they play to get things for practically nothing.

    Expenses
It's when they lie about an expense that is supposed to be used on a building project and they use it for their own home. This expense is then used to for tax purposes.
