Replacement Ref for Congress?

Suzan DelBene is out with her latest ad for Washington's new 1st Congressional District. It's supposed to be a bio spot, but the background that she says gives her the "perfect experience" for Congress is her work as a little league football ref. Supposedly, that's what will help her deal with the lack of "bipartisanship."

I thought it was an odd choice. While the ad is well-filmed, the "experience" line strikes me as so contrived, it diminishes the message of the rest of the ad (plus it brings up memories of NFL replacement refs).

    Or are you so biased that you won't even look at the voracity of a Republican's claims and lies about his attorney general's race opponent? You know the ad - the ad that's intentionally framed to scare voters with falsified, twisted out of context comments that try to make it out that Ferguson 'loved' defending a cop killer and how it 'made him feel good'... I challenge you to publish he un-spun honest truth about that ad while you whine about a kludgy ad for that a democrat put out.. Are you man enough to take on the challenge to prove that you're not just a right wing republican talking head?

    Patty Murray was a "mom in tennis shoes." State Supreme Court Justice Susan Owens was a "mom and a Mariners fan." We seem to look at the issues, revue politicians qualifications and then just puke all over our ballots and pick the worst of all options.
