Best column on Gay Marriage I've seen yet

I've wanted to write a column on this issue for a while, but haven't seemed to find the time. As luck would have it, Dennis Prager has written one that expresses a great deal of what I wanted to say. It's a fascinating read, and well worth sharing.

    Good Column
The column was well thought out and should offend no one, and yet, very soon, Dennis Prager will be deemed the combined reincarnation of Hitler, Stalin, Pol-Pot and Mao Zedong. Ready, set, GO!

    Meh,
    I remain unconvinced.

Legalize it then make Boze and Prager prove in the court of law that they are personally harmed by some gay couple's marriage enough to bring action against them.

The elements of Pragers concerns are too abstract and subjective for the cold logic of the courts. His arguments are meant to fall upon the ears (or eyes) of those human machines that can deal with the abstract and subjective and cast the ballot accordingly. That being said, our long, slimy slide into androgyny began a couple of generations before we stopped beating up gays for speaking their peace.

The true tragedy of the blog is lack of rimshots when needed.

Are they meant to create what is best for society or are they meant to increase individual freedom?

Theoretically, The United States' success would indicate that the two are inseparable. A free society, like a free market, can be good at correcting itself. The fringe of feminism pushed gender blurring a few years back, everyone realized it a farce and it fell by the wayside. 30 years from now, Time magazine will publish a big article: "Gender Roles and Raising Children - Not as Archaeic as We Thought". It will encourage people to outwardly express free to self-correct.

    Correction
It will encourage people to outwardly express WHAT THEY'VE KNOWN ALL ALONG AND HOPEFULLY BE free to self-correct.
