    Israel has: Helicopters, F-18's, a NAVY, Bulldozers, Tanks, Nuclear Weapons, An Airforce, an Army and US assistance. Israel has a SIEGE/BLOCKADE over the Gaza strips'Airspace, Gaza's Seacoast, all Gazan borders (except w/Egypt), Gaza currency (shekel), Gazan's water, electricity and all commerce. What do Gazan's have? Sticks, rocks and some hand rockets which have killed what.....3 Israelis? Who are you fooling?

    What is your point? The fact remains they are trying to kill Israelis. So as long as they are trying (no matter how successful they are) I fully support all means necessary to crush this. You win wars/confrontations with fierce responses. If you give your enemy hope that they may be able to defeat you are are doing it wrong. Yeah I know, Israel still fights wars the way you suppose to fight them not like our "hold your hand" military that treats war like a game. I'll bet many parents of "wasted" soldiers wish we would still crush our enemies as well because their son or daughter would be still alive.

    What is my Point? Israel has a SIEGE/BLOCKADE around the Gaza Strip. Israel controls: Gazan's airspace, sea coast, borders (less Egypt), electricity, currency, commerce and access by visitors. When the Germans did the same thing to Leningrad, did you support the Germans?

    If anything, the Hamas rockets are a blip on Bibi's schedule. Israel will attack Iran - at least the bomb labs - as soon as ready. Regardless who won our elections.

    Let Israel fend for themselves and quit supporting a racist regime with BILLIONS is free aid and weaponry. Let's make no mistake, Israel has been trying through lies and deception to take over the "holy lands" from everyone else for decades. They are NOT our ally; we only need to remember the USS Liberty attack of 1967 to know this is true. We are Goyim to them, they feel we are nothing more than a worthless animal to be used and controlled by the almighty Jew. In America what do we see? The Jewish minority completely ruling this government. Jewish interests control international banking cartels, media, Hollywood, and even our politicians. Don't believe me? Look for yourself and see the sad truth. The Rothschild family are known to be the main family in banking, and they are the founding family for Israel. Our media and entertainment industries are Jewish controlled from the top down. Owners, producers, actors, and most other major positions in the industry are all Jewish. Any politician wants to run for a major public office must do what if they want to win? Go to Israel and get their support. Israeli dollars are a huge part of the election dollars being spent. Why is all this allowed and okayed? Because of the religious propaganda machine which has labelled the Jew as their "Gods chosen people". They will cry persecution as they have throughout history, all while leaving out the rest of the story. They wore out their welcome in every country they were welcomed in throughout time because of what reason? because they have continuously had the attitude that they were better than everyone else and are always trying to force their values on their hosts society. They want the world to give them everything while they are only willing to share with other Jews. It is what is happening here in the US and the world, we are being forced to finance AND fight their wars. Our people are starving, social programs are being cut due to lack of funds, and yet we are to happily keep funneling BILLIONS to another country who keeps urinating on our values and people. Cut Israel off, let them stand by themselves for a while, and see hoew long they continue their childish and hateful behavior. Sad part of it is, THEY are the ones most likely to start a global nuclear war...

    I can't tell which one you are, but isn't it interesting that both seem to be incapable of criticizing Israel without a heavy dose of anti-Semitism? There's plenty of discussion to be had about policy toward Israel and military aid, but let's not let rabid prejudice enter the discussion, right?

    Israel is not even close to the worst nation we give aid to, nor the one we give the most to. Last I know, the answer to both was probably Egypt or Pakistan... not sure of the numbers, but I do know we give a lot to both.

    Do NOT show the killing of over 6 million Jews, and that 6 million is the magic number of prophecy. Nobody will deny that Hitler was a drug addled megalomaniac who had Jews put in concentration camps, or that many died from multiple causes. What many will QUESTION is the total number of deaths as well as supporting evidence to prove this. Hitler was a monster and mad, but that alone is not proof. 6 million people is a large mass of humanity; where did they go? mass graves that nobody has ever found?

    doesn't make you an anti-Semite. The garbage about "Jews this and Rothschilds that" though, is plainly prejudiced. There is a difference between speaking out against things you disagree with, and attacking an entire religion/ethnicity (Jews being both of those things, in different contexts) based on your bias. When anti-Semitism is the single most common and accepted prejudice in the world, and hatred for Jewish people is preached from the pulpits of churches, mosques, and political rallies all over the world, I don't see how one can claim that the world is somehow controlled by the Jews. Those claims are obviously borne of an irrational dislike or hatred. I've looked at the comments under this story, and while there's a whole spectrum of opinions on Israel's policies, there's only one here that is nakedly anti-Jew.

Acknowledging that their regime has been using superior weapons (stolen and given to them by the US) to try wiping out another race is wrong? Pointing out the TRUTH about Israels influence over the American media, Federal reserve, and politicians is wrong? I suppose next you will try to tell me that Israel didn't attack the USS Liberty next. Israel has NEVER been caught trying to set up the US with false flag ops in the past either, right? The past has only proven that Israel is not our ally and needs to be cut off from all aid and support from the US. One question for you, Essex. If the Jewish people have been so wonderful throughout time, why did nations of people keep kicking them out throughout history?

    I'm not arguing that there is nothing wrong with Israel or its policies. I'm also not arguing that the Jews have been a magical group of perfect people throughout history. What I'm saying is that they have been unjustly blamed, hated, reviled, and accused throughout history for the same things your are claiming now. If they are really in control, how could Hitler have doen what he did? How could all of the attacks on Jews throughout history have happened? The Pogroms in Russia, the persecution in Spain, the mistreatment in Rome and throughout the Middle East... the Jews rise to the top because of cultural values and a consistent sense of community between them, but the idea of a conspiracy is ludicrous. The attack on the Liberty was an accident almost 50 years ago. The claims of "genocide" are obviously garbage, as the West Bank (yeah, remember them?) is doing quite well, and the only reason any trouble is in Gaza is the constant attacks since Israel decided to leave thme alone. The blockades are only there to search for weapons like the rockets that have continued to fly at Israel for the last 6 years. I don't completely disagree with you about aid. I tend to not like foreign aid at all... but to try to justify the mistreatment the Jewish people have had througghout history is really indefensible. I must ask, why are you incapable of separating your feelings about Israel (a nation) from your feelings about the Jews (a people)?

    'The USS Liberty': America's Most Shameful Secret

    by Eric S. Margolis NEW YORK – On the fourth day of the 1967 Arab Israeli War, the intelligence ship 'USS Liberty' was steaming slowly in international waters, 14 miles off the Sinai Peninsula. Israeli armored forces were racing deep into Sinai in hot pursuit of the retreating Egyptian army. 'Liberty,' a World War II freighter, had been converted into an intelligence vessel by the top-secret US National Security Agency, and packed with the latest signals and electronic interception equipment. The ship bristled with antennas and electronic 'ears' including TRSSCOMM, a system that delivered real-time intercepts to Washington by bouncing a stream of microwaves off the moon. 'Liberty' had been rushed to Sinai to monitor communications of the belligerents in the Third Arab Israeli War: Israel and her foes, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. At 0800 hrs, 8 June, 1967, eight Israeli recon flights flew over 'Liberty,' which was flying a large American flag. At 1400 hrs, waves of low-flying Israeli Mystere and Mirage-III fighter-bombers repeatedly attacked the American vessel with rockets, napalm, and cannon. The air attacks lasted 20 minutes, concentrating on the ship's electronic antennas and dishes. The 'Liberty' was left afire, listing sharply. Eight of her crew lay dead, a hundred seriously wounded, including the captain, Commander William McGonagle. At 1424 hrs, three Israeli torpedo boats attacked, raking the burning 'Liberty' with 20mm and 40mm shells. At 1431hrs an Israeli torpedo hit the 'Liberty' midship, precisely where the signals intelligence systems were located. Twenty-five more Americans died. Israeli gunboats circled the wounded 'Liberty,' firing at crewmen trying to fight the fires. At 1515, the crew were ordered to abandon ship. The Israeli warships closed and poured machine gun fire into the crowded life rafts, sinking two. As American sailors were being massacred in cold blood, a rescue mission by US Sixth Fleet carrier aircraft was mysteriously aborted on orders from the White House. An hour after the attack, Israeli warships and planes returned. Commander McGonagle gave the order. 'prepare to repel borders.' But the Israelis, probably fearful of intervention by the US Sixth Fleet, departed. 'Liberty' was left shattered but still defiant, her flag flying. The Israeli attacks killed 34 US seamen and wounded 171 out of a crew of 297, the worst loss of American naval personnel from hostile action since World War II. Less than an hour after the attack, Israel told Washington its forces had committed a 'tragic error.' Later, Israel claimed it had mistaken 'Liberty' for an ancient Egyptian horse transport. US Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, and Joint Chiefs of Staff head, Admiral Thomas Moorer, insisted the Israeli attack was deliberate and designed to sink 'Liberty.' So did three CIA reports; one asserted Israel's Defense Minister, Gen. Moshe Dayan, had personally ordered the attack. In contrast to American outrage over North Korea's assault on the intelligence ship 'Pueblo,' Iraq's mistaken missile strike on the USS 'Stark,' last fall's bombing of the USS 'Cole' in Aden, and the recent US-China air incident, the savaging of 'Liberty' was quickly hushed up by President Lyndon Johnson and Defense Secretary Robert McNamara. The White House and Congress immediately accepted Israel's explanation and let the matter drop. Israel later paid a token reparation of US $6 million. There were reports two Israeli pilots who had refused to attack 'Liberty' were jailed for 18 years. Surviving 'Liberty' crew members would not be silenced. They kept demanding an open inquiry and tried to tell their story of deliberate attack to the media. Israel's government worked behind the scenes to thwart these efforts, going so far as having American pro-Israel groups accuse 'Liberty's' survivors of being 'anti-Semites' and 'Israel-haters.' Major TV networks cancelled interviews with the crew. A book about the 'Liberty' by crewman James Ennes' was dropped from distribution. The Israel lobby branded him 'an Arab propagandist.' The attack on 'Liberty' was fading into obscurity until last week, when intelligence expert James Bamford came out with Body of Secrets, his latest book about the National Security Agency. In a stunning revelation, Bamford writes that unknown to Israel, a US Navy EC-121 intelligence aircraft was flying high overhead the 'Liberty,' electronically recorded the attack. The US aircraft crew provides evidence that the Israeli pilots knew full well that they were attacking a US Navy ship flying the American flag. Why did Israel try to sink a naval vessel of its benefactor and ally? Most likely because 'Liberty's' intercepts flatly contradicted Israel's claim, made at the war's beginning on 5 June, that Egypt had attacked Israel, and that Israel's massive air assault on three Arab nations was in retaliation. In fact, Israel began the war by a devastating, Pearl-Harbor style surprise attack that caught the Arabs in bed and destroyed their entire air forces. Israel was also preparing to attack Syria to seize its strategic Golan Heights. Washington warned Israel not to invade Syria, which had remained inactive while Israel fought Egypt. Bamford says Israel's offensive against Syria was abruptly postponed when 'Liberty' appeared off Sinai, then launched once it was knocked out of action. Israel's claim that Syria had attacked it could have been disproved by 'Liberty.' Most significant, 'Liberty's' intercepts may have shown that Israel seized upon sharply rising Arab-Israeli tensions in May-June 1967 to launch a long-planned war to invade and annex the West Bank, Jerusalem, Golan and Sinai. Far more shocking was Washington's response. Writes Bamford: 'Despite the overwhelming evidence that Israel attacked the ship and killed American servicemen deliberately, the Johnson Administration and Congress covered up the entire incident.' Why? Domestic politics. Johnson, a man never noted for high moral values, preferred to cover up the attack rather than anger a key constituency and major financial backer of the Democratic Party. Congress was even less eager to touch this 'third rail' issue. Commander McGonagle was quietly awarded the Medal of Honor for his and his men's heroism – not in the White House, as is usual, but in an obscure ceremony at the Washington Navy Yard. Crew member's graves were inscribed, 'died in the Eastern Mediterranean..' as if they had be killed by disease, rather than hostile action. A member of President Johnson's staff believed there was a more complex reason for the cover-up: Johnson offered Jewish liberals unconditional backing of Israel, and a cover-up of the 'Liberty' attack, in exchange for the liberal toning down their strident criticism of his policies in the then raging Vietnam War. Israel, which claims it fought a war of self defense in 1967 and had no prior territorial ambitions, will be much displeased by Bamford's revelations. Those who believe Israel illegally occupies the West Bank and Golan will be emboldened. Much more important, the US government's long, disgraceful cover-up of the premeditated attack on 'Liberty' has now burst into the open and demands full-scale investigation. After 34 years, the voices of 'Liberty's' dead and wounded seamen must finally be heard.

    I know very well the difference from a Zionist and a 'real' Jew. Do you? Do you know who financed Hitler's rise to power? That's right, Zionist/Jewish bankers and their allies such as Prescott Bush. Why would they do that, support the enemy of 'their' people? Why did people throughout history turn on them? Sure wasn't jealousy about their cultural values or religious beliefs, but rather because the Jewish guests kept trying to take over every nation they were guests of and force their culture on their hosts. The claims of genocide are sadly true, there are tons of videos showing the sad truth. One needs only look at the original footprint of Israel on the map and compare it to todays footprint to see that Israel has NOT been leaving anyone alone. Years of taking over land by force and bulldozing entire Palestinian villages only proves this. We look at the death toll on each side from this ongoing conflict and all but a fool can see the huge discrepancy in numbers,ESPECIALLY women and children. I know all about the age old hatred between Muslims and Jews, and quite frankly I think both sides are idiots. One last thing,do not try to insult my intelligence and even suggest that the USS Liberty attack was a mistake, there is way too much evidence that proves otherwise.

    Former President Jimmy Carter: "I think the big change is that the Israeli leaders have decided to abandon the two-state solution. Their policy now is to confiscate Palestinian territory." UK PM David Cameron referred to the Gaza Strip as "sort of an open-air prison". Guess who is the warden? Former US Representative Brian Baird called for "a Berlin-style airlift for the Gaza strip".

    Every time Israel gives up territory (ie the Gaza Strip) they are attacked more for confiscating Palestinian Territory? That's jsut ridiculous. There was no nation called Palestine at any point in history, and any two state solution will be based off of Israel conceding things to a group that never existed before the 1950s.

    The US withdrew from Vietnam just as Israel withdrew from the Gaza strip EXCEPT instead of allowing the people of Gaza to have normal conditions, Israel decided to impose a SIEGE/BLOCKADE around the Gaza strip. Which is why David Cameron, President Carter said what they did. Judaism is not the problem, ZIONISM is the problem. Please learn this distinction.
