'Stop watching Two and a Half Men!' says star of show

Hollywood is abuzz with talk about Angus T. Jones, the child (now adult) star of the hit sitcom "Two and a Half Men" which continues to be popular despite the departure of star Charlie Sheen. Jones is asking fans of the show to stop being fans. He's says the show is "filth" and that fans of the show are messing with their brains by watching it and putting their eternal lives at risk.

The mocking has already begun of this young man and of course many are asking if he's going to be giving away the fortune he made (and is making) as a part of the show. Some are already dismissing what this kid is saying as the rantings of a "Jesus freak." I will say that as someone who doesn't watch a whole lot of TV (I tend to download or stream the shows I want to see,) when I have flipped through the channels and landed on "Two and a Half Men" I was taken aback by how raunchy the comedy is in prime time. Of course, the same is now true of most comedies.

(talk of the show starts about 7:20 in...)

And he's got the right to be as hypocritical as many of the commentors are on here... He's as free to condemn the show as we the public are to condemn him for being a part of the filth he's complaining about! It's amazing how people will support such insanity - and I mean the insanity of someone involved in creating the 'filth' that he's actually part of - while he's still part of it. It's alot like a preacher condeming homosexuals while he's out snorting coke while he's banging his gay prostitute!

    Meh
Never liked this show even when Charlie Sheen was on there. I thought it just wasn't that funny like the other sitcoms that are on CBS.

I'll stick with Big Bang Theory, thank you.
Two and a Half men should have been called Two and a Half Laughs, because that's about the average for how many chuckles per episode that show got out of me. It was only mildly funny when Sheen was the star, but now CBS is only running new shows to give Ashton Kutcher work and prove a point to Sheen that they don't need him. Just keep doing what you're doing with BBT, and don't throw Kutcher in there.

    So he left the show?
I admit I didn't watch the whole video, but has he left the show? If not then he is a huge hypocrite trying to have it both ways. Dude, your words would have much more weight if you jumped off the gravy train.

If you think this show is filthy, have a look at "2 Broke Girls" on CBS, I couldn't believe the sheer grossness of the sexual innuendos on that show. Things that I wouldn't even say out loud in a locker room.

    I won't stop watching!
That would mean I'd first have to start watching at some point. Not gonna happen.

For me, sitcoms fall somewhere in between grass growing and paint drying on the fun to watch scale. I never make it through 5 minutes of one.

TV mostly sucks. Fortunately, Algore created the internet for my viewing pleasure. I wonder if he knew back then that the internet would contribute to global warming?
