Obama downgraded from messiah to "boss" or "dad"

Chris Rock's statement at an anti-gun press conference nicely stated a world-view common on the left which holds that the people are largely children who need "parented" by the powers of a centralized government.

I disagree with your position (and characterization) of these attempts at common sense gun laws won't get anywhere (some will make it, some won't). btw - No one baits Nugent into saying anything. He is far too willing to spew his opinion on his own. And as far as the foolish quoting of ' gun laws are a failure to stop violence' -- even a moron can figure out why the crime rate stays high with the following logic. If you 1)have very permissive gun laws across an entire state or region 2) lock down the gun laws in one city within that state or region 3)already have an incredible violent crime problem 4) Have many people that will violate the city law by acquiring guns (by legal or illegal purchase) and then bring them into the city to illegally equip criminals open in all areas around a city.

You now say one or two...there were more than one or two that cheered in just the video I provided. I'm sure this wasn't the only time, it was just one that could be found in 30 seconds of looking. And you did say "ever".

    And then you try to argue that it's ok for the left to have a cult of personality raising Obama to godhood because there might be right wingers who say stupid stuff about republican leaders...weak man. Even if it were true I didn't try to argue that no one has "ever" done it. To be honest, the left is much more into the cult of personality thing, but I wouldn't be shocked if there were some idiots on the right that do it as well.
