Seattle visited by Star Trek original
February 26, 2013 @ 11:17 am (Updated: 11:41 am - 2/26/13 )

Star Trek has always had a special place in my heart. Yes, the effects were cheesy, but I loved the adventure and the themes of the series. And to this day, when I see an episode of the original series, I can picture my grandfather sitting next to me with a huge bowl of popcorn or ice-cream in his lap.
I had the pleasure of speaking to Walter Koenig, aka Ensign Pavel Chekov or original Star Trek fame today after the show. He's coming to Seattle for the Emerald City Comic Convention (I am hosting his panel at 1pm on Saturday). I talked to him about the huge success of Star Trek, his favorite scenes, how the creature entered his ear in Wrath of Khan(embedded below), his upcoming projects, and his self-described "best acting performance" at the age of 12.
I'll be playing portions of it tomorrow during the show, but you can get a head start and listen to the full interview here.
