Bonneville Seattle is raising funds for the construction of a second Fisher House at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma and we need your help.

Who is at fault in the Colorado Batman shooting?

Answer: The guy who did it.

Why Brian Ross and co. at ABC thought it was "something" to link a name to the Tea Party only proves how bias they are and how oblivious they are to their own violence. After all, what link is there to the Tea Party and violent behavior? Occupy! has had far more criminal problems, yet left-wing media assumes every crazy/evil killer is a right-winger.

I think it's because too often folks on the radical left assume conservatives are evil--that they are motivated by it and probably hiding it. We've even seen that kind of ugly smear from the President and Vice President of late (see: Voter ID law comments, Immigration, etc). So when something evil happens, they assume it must be one of THEM. On the other hand, folks on the right tend to view the left as misguided or deluded and not "evil" so they do not make the same assumption.

Understandably, people hearing of this tragedy are seeking to know "why?" Why evil happens to good people is one of life's great mysteries for the faithful. Sometimes seeking the answer to that question leads us to political policies--but it would be nice if we could take 24 hours to fold our hands and pray instead of finger point and blame. Yet, with this massive shooting, we hardly had hours.

    The Solemn Duty of Journalists...
We look to newspapers to find our obituaries. We look to those who are paid to provide breaking news to take this part of their job with the proper care and consideration needed for the mourning process. To take the job of reporting news and not understand this duty is on the rise. In the era of personal-attack and agenda-driven media, the solemn duty of the press has been lost.

How people handle deaths and rape and such should determine their job security in a news outlet. You sir handled it well. Your kind touch while pointing at your own kind was a fine piece of writing and a throw-back to a time of solid journalism.

The person puling the trigger is the one at fault.
Whatever political party this person may identify with, if any, is irreverent.

Guns, or any instrument(S) that cause death and/or destruction, is 100 percent dependent upon the intent of the human in control of it!

Who is at fault in the Colorado Batman shooting? The American Family Association has the answer:
"American Family Association blames Colorado shooting on Gays, Liberal Media, Liberal Churches: 'We are seeing' God's judgment."

Yes them dam librul homosexual lovers are the cause of this.

Oh, I'm sorry Boze, does that not jive with your contention that it's only the political left that tries to draw these connections?
