    Boom.

No budget, no recovery, no plan, no civility, no clue, and no questions asked.

With each passing day I become more certain that, when our nation goes down for the last time, it'll be our media holding us under.

    Ain't that America
it seems we would rather have an entertainer in chief than an actual leader in the White House. I don't blame the radio show for asking these softball questions, after all, they are just a silly radio show, but the president really needs to be above this sort of interaction with the media.

You don't pass a BUDGET by yourself silly. If the conservatives in the house and senate don't want to cooperate, well, you get the idea.

    It's the GOPs fault
Lets see, a couple years ago the the house and senate had strong democrat majorities, and the presidents own budget wasn't approved (voted for) by anyone. Yep it's clearly the GOPs fault.

    I know this sounds facetious
    However:

    IT IS BUSH'S FAULT!

Had he acted like a fiscal conservative while he had a Democratic congress, the last few years of his Presidency, much of the recession we are today experiencing would have been avoided. No recession, no need to change political parties, no Obama!

Therefore, it is clear! It is Bush's fault that Obama The Entertainer became President and the jobless recovery (LOL) continues in the latter part of his first? term!

Thanks Bush! It's ALL your fault!..... ;-)

@ CH & SP. You might actually be right blaming Bush THAT WAY.
So, by a supposed republican acting like a democrat, he caused the recession? And caused Obama's continuing failure to do anything to get us out of it? .. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ?

So, then, is Jimmy Carter then responsible for the economic recovery of the 1980s? After all, had he had the slightest clue, Ronald Reagan would not have bee elected. No Reagan = no recovery. Thank You, Jimmy (?????).

    An interesting bit of trivia
What sitting President during his term in office never passed a budget? Hint - it's only happened once in America.

Another hint - the Presidents budget was voted down in 2011 Congress 414-0 and the Senate 97-0 and in 2012 Congress 414-0 and the Senate 97-0.

Of course there have been majorities both in Congress and the Senate (even Super Majorities) in the past and consistently a budget has been passed.

Can't deny the change portion of the campaign promise..

Lets not put all the blame on Dear Leader Obama . . . .
Bipartisan Budget Proposal and the White House Budget Proposal overwhelmingly voted down by the House_ of Representatives. “The House overwhelmingly voted down a bipartisan_ budget proposal that would have directed lawmakers to reduce the federal deficit by more than $4 trillion over 10 years through a combination of spending cuts and tax increases. The vote on the budget resolution, which was defeated 382-38, shows how far apart Republicans and Democrats remain in Congress over how to address the growing U.S. debt. The lawmakers’ proposal received many more votes than the White House’s budget proposal for fiscal year 2013, which was voted down on the House floor 414 to 0. Question is has Congress passed a budget for the president to sign? Can't veto a Budget if your not given one eh?

Are you Republicans really this dumb? Romney wont even release the tax returns that he maid his VP release. Just wait until this guy gets into power, deregulates the banks even more and gives away chunks of the US economy to his vulture capitalists buddies. The knife wound that will destroy America. Romney is an extension of W.

Why has nobody from Wall Street gone to jail for the financial crises?? The questions go on and on without being asked. Oh well, at least Obama-Bush is having a good time taking vacations and playing golf.

Hey, 509. Who are we even FIGHTING in Afghanistan?
Near as I can see for the past several months, our primary 'enemy' has been Afghani police and security forces. The guys who it seems EVERY DAY kill another American or five.

And when 'our' guys do kill someone, it's civilians and kids.

Didn't Oz promise to have us out by the end of 2010? Why are we still there? Why do democrats (LBJ excepted) always get a pass on wars?
