Two people dead in Thurston County shooting

The Thurston County sheriff’s office says a man and a woman have died in an Olympia-area shooting.
Lt. Cliff Ziesemer says the woman was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday afternoon. The man died while being transported to a local hospital.
The couple has not been positively identified but it appears that they are a 39-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man from Lakewood.
Ziesemer says the coroner will investigate but it appears their deaths may have been a murder-suicide.
The shooting happened about 10 miles north of Olympia.
