Russell Wilson isn’t the only top-tier athlete in his family. His little sister Anna is getting in on the action as it’s just been announced she’ll be representing the U.S. as a member of the USA women’s U-17 World Championship Team.
“When they called my name I was just very happy that it happened,” said the younger Wilson at the USA Basketball website. “I’m very excited.”
Big brother Russell was gushing on Twitter about his little sister’s accomplishment and opportunity.

Anna currently plays for the Collegiate School, Richmond, Va. and has committed to Stanford for her college play.
Of course, her brother led the Seahawks to their first-ever Super Bowl win, and the younger Wilson doesn’t lack her brother’s winning spirit.
“We want to win gold, that’s our main goal. I can’t wait to just be a part of the team,” said Anna.
The team will travel to the Czech Republic in June to play in the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship.
