News Summary: Tips on leasing a new vehicle

(AP) - LEASING'S APPEAL: Auto leasing has its benefits, especially if you want to drive a new car every couple of years while keeping monthly payments low.

KEY DIFFERENCES: Experts say a lease will be more favorable for drivers who are looking to save money in the short-term. But in the long term, buying is considered a better investment.

SOME TIPS: Don't forget to haggle over the price of the car when leasing, and keep the contract length to three years or less. Longer lease terms can expose you to having to pay for repairs.
