WSU offers reprieve for students affected by Oso mudslide

In a letter to the mayor of Darrington, Washington State University President Elson Floyd said students affected by the Oso mudslide, who live in Oso or Darrington, are eligible for free tuition in the 2014-2015 school year.
Floyd notes that the WSU Snohomish County Extension is helping with the care of farm animals in the community.
The letter also states that WSU will provide technical assistance and help to rebuild agriculture, forestry and natural resource businesses in the Stillaguamish Valley.
