University of Washington’s Dream Project

Low income and first generation high school students don’t always have the resources to attend college, but the University of Washington’s “Dream Project” is working to help.
The Project believes no one should be denied access to higher education. College students enrolled in the Project’s academic course are connected with hopeful high school students to help them with the college application process, including helping with financial aid applications and essay writing.
The Project’s dual focus approach of partnering college students with high school students increases awareness of social mobility and educational opportunity among college students and helps high school students achieve their dreams of attending college.
To support these efforts, Bonneville Seattle and the Seattle Seahawks are proud to announce The Dream Project as the January Charity of the Month.
