Video of passengers overpowering a robbery suspect on a bus in West Seattle has just been released.
The suspect, Trevonnte Brown, 19, appeared in court Wednesday. Brown is accused of robbing passengers on the bus at gunpoint on Nov. 25.
At the time of the incident, police said the suspect boarded the bus with a stocking mask on his face. He pulled a gun and was pointing it at passengers’ heads as he took property from at least three people.
In court Wednesday, Brown pleaded not guilty to two counts of Robbery First Degree and one count of Attempted Robbery First Degree.
Prosecutors also added a new charge Wednesday of Robbery Second Degree for an earlier robbery aboard a Metro bus. Brown is accused of stealing another passenger’s smart phone on Nov. 16.
Brown remains in jail with bail set at $350,000.
