Being a Russell Wilson fan has its benefits, especially when it comes to flying. Wearing Wilson’s jersey will now get you priority boarding on Alaska Airlines until the end of the season.

It’s part of Wilson’s new partnership with Seattle-based Alaska. The airline announced Tuesday Wilson has become the new spokesperson for Alaska Air and been named the CFO or ‘Chief Football Officer.’

Wilson will appear at events, take part in marketing activities for Alaska Airlines, and work with the carrier to support youth and education programs. In support of his regular work with Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he visits young fans receiving care, Alaska will donate 100,000 air miles to the hospital for each touchdown he throws or scores for the rest of the season.

But the big perk for passengers is the ability to race to the head of the line. An Alaska spokesperson tells TMZ anyone wearing the number three jersey will get to board first on any flight out of Seattle.

It’s not the first time the airline has run such a promotion. It did something similar with the Portland Timbers soccer team.
