It’ll be a busy weekend for workers at the Port of Seattle after a cargo ship docked Friday with dozens of shipping containers toppled while at sea.

A spokesman with the Port of Seattle tells KIRO Radio the Maersk ship traveled through the typhoon that ravaged the Philippines after departing Korea on Nov. 12.

Coast Guard officials tell KING 5 the crew reported 53 containers were damaged and 18 lost overboard in international waters during the storm.

The ship was not damaged.
