Obama to attend North Seattle, Medina fundraisers

There are a couple of very expensive Democratic Party gatherings whose attendees are abound to tie up traffic on Sunday. The guest of honor at both: President Barack Obama.
The president will swing through North Seattle and Medina to raise money for the 2014 elections.
Obama is first scheduled to headline a “discussion” at a North Seattle home says The Seattle Times, according to an invitation circulated in local Democratic circles.
The ticket price will benefit the Democratic National Committee at a cost of $20,000 per person or $32,400 per couple.
Following that fundraiser, Obama is scheduled to attend a reception at the Medina home of a former Microsoft executive.
The dinner and cocktails in Medina, as well as a photo with the president, is $16,200 per person or $32,400 per couple.
The White House hasn’t released details on when Air Force One will touch down or when the presidential motorcade will tie up traffic in the Seattle area. The Seattle Monorail tweeted that it’ll be closed on Monday for security reasons.

The president will attend fundraisers in Los Angeles and San Francisco on Monday.
