‘Mr. Safety’ not helping commuter in the HOV lane

Just because it looks like it could be person, doesn’t mean commuters can fool the Washington State Patrol with pretend passengers.
On Thursday morning, WSP Trooper Mark Francis tweeted that a driver was stopped after using the the HOV lane on southbound I-5 in Everett with a dummy in the passenger seat.
According to Francis, the driver called his companion ‘Mr. Safety.’ The driver received a $124 fine.
