Listen: Mike Blowers analyzes a wild Mariners' win
By 710Sports.com staff
In the debut of "The Mike Blowers Show," Blowers discusses the Mariners' come-from-behind win over the Tigers and Jesus Montero's development behind the plate.
Hisashi Iwakuma had been a non-factor this season before he turned out to be one of the heroes of the Mariners' 3-2 win over the Tigers on Monday.
Iwakuma, signed by the Mariners to compete for a spot in the rotation, had made all of two appearances in relief before he replaced Blake Beavan in the fourth inning. Iwakuma struck out five batters and limited a tough Tigers lineup to a run on three hits in three innings.
In the video below, Bob Stelton and Dave Grosby discuss the ramifications of Iwakuma's stellar outing.
