Mark Langston shared his thoughts on the importance of hitters making adjustments when he joined "Brock and Salk" on Tuesday.

Langston, a former Mariners pitcher who's now on the Angels' radio broadcast, called Kyle Seager a "future star" and said he's seen the Mariners' third baseman make necessary adjustments in games against the Angels.

Other Mariners youngsters haven't.

In Tuesday's Wrap Up video, Brock Huard and Mike Salk discuss their level of concern about a Mariners team that has now gone 23 innings without scoring a run.

  What the Mariners are lacking is consistency. What I think is so frustrating is that it's still hard to tell if they're getting consistently better or staying the same. Then again, I'm just a mutant hand and don't have any eyes.

  Today Ron Washington (Mgr Texas Rangers)chose Lucas Luetge to be the Seattle Mariners lone All-Star Game representative. "We may need a tough lefty to get a left handed bat out late in the game, and seriously, who else has All-Star numbers over there?" said Washington after being asked why he chose the young lefty.
