A 37-year-old Redmond man and his 4-year-old son are both hospitalized after what’s believed to be heroin overdoses.
“The mother arrived home and found her husband and son unconscious,” said Redmond Police Lt. Charlie Gorman.
Police and fire personnel responded to the 14100 block of NE 72nd St. at 11:45 a.m. and found the victims both unconscious and breathing.
“Drug paraphernalia was located a the scene and it appears both father and son had been injected with suspected heroin,” Gorman said.
Both the child and father are stable and sedated, according to Gorman.
An investigation continues, and police are treating the incident as an assault.
