Seattle rapper Macklemore isn’t neglecting to thank tall ship Lady Washington for serving as location for his “Can’t Hold Us” music video.
Producer Ryan Lewis posted a PSA featuring Macklemore talking about his experience and encouraging others to visit the ship maintained by the Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority.
“We were on the open water, breeze hitting your face. It smells like salt and dolphins,” said Macklemore. “I was up on the mast. I was a little baby pirate, a little urban baby pirate, up on there doing my thing. And you can do that thing too. Go visit Lady Washington like we did.”
The Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority is based in Aberdeen, Washington and maintains two tall ships, the Lady Washington and the Hawaiian Chieftan. Their programs include tours, charters, camp, and two-week sailing programs.
The PSA encourages people to visit historicalseaport.org to donate to the non-profit.
