Seattle, WA - On Wednesday, August 10, 97.3 KIRO FM and 710 ESPN Seattle will hold "try-outs" at the Newport High School football field giving couch quarterbacks and football hopefuls the chance to show off their arms and win a VIP trip to Seahawks Training Camp at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC).

Alongside former Seahawks quarterback and 710 ESPN Seattle host, Brock Huard, and 97.3 KIRO FM host and Seahawks Pre and Post Game Host, Dori Monson, contestants will be asked to throw a football from a designated area and hit the cross bar of the field goal. After each round the distance of the throw will increase until one contestant remains.

"How cool is this? Maybe one of our listeners will step up and start a new QB controversy in Seattle! Show Brock and Dori your 'rocket' of an arm and get ready to be whisked away on our once-in-a-lifetime Seahawks VIP Free Agent experience." said Larry Gifford, 97.3 KIRO FM Program Director.

The winner and one guest will take a Kenmore Air chartered flight on August 17th to VMAC where they will view practice from VIP seating, get a tour of the facility, tickets to the August 20th preseason game and take home personalized Seahawks jersey's commemorating the day as an honorary free agent.
