SEATTLE, WA - has won the 2012 National Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Radio Station Website - Large Market, the Radio Television Digital News Association announced on Tuesday.

"It's such an honor to be recognized by your peers in broadcasting," said Pete Gammel, 97.3 KIRO FM News Director. "We work hard to translate the experience of a full radio news team into a digital product that keeps our community informed, and engaged."

This is the second time has been honored with a National Edward R. Murrow Award, after being named Best Radio Station Website in 2010. has also won the regional Edward R. Murrow Award for the past four consecutive years.
