10-year-old Woodinville chef lands invitation to White House

She’s been making her own online cooking shows for the past year and now her “No-Noodle Lasagna” recipe has landed 10-year-old Amber Kelley an invitation to the White House.

“It’s a tongue twister, but it’s really yummy,” says Kelley.

The fifth grader from Woodinville is the state winner of the nationwide “Healthy Lunchtime Challenge” promoted by First Lady Michelle Obama. She’s heading to the other Washington this week for a special tour of the White House.

According to the Seattle Times, Kelley likes to taste-test her healthy creations on her 7-year-old sister, Lexi.

Her secret to that No-Noodle Lasagna, by the way, is zucchini. But if you’re not a zucchini fan, don’t worry – she says you can’t taste it.
