It first took an appearance on a Turkish television station to hear Marshawn Lynch’s take on the end of the Super Bowl. His only other public comments about the game’s decisive play came Monday, four months later, on – what else? – “Conan.”
Lynch talked about that play and as well as some less weightier subjects such as his tendency to grab his crotch while celebrating touchdowns and his appearance in a Beacon Plumbing commercial, which he said he had never watched.
The videos are embedded below, starting with the one that contains Lynch’s comments about contemplating retirement after last season and how he felt about not getting the ball from the 1-yard line in the Super Bowl. He said he expected his number to be called but that he isn’t mad that it wasn’t.
Here’s Lynch on grabbing his crotch in celebration.
Lynch on the origins of “Beast Mode.”
Lynch watches his ad for Beacon Plumbing, apparently for the first time.
And finally, Lynch dives into an end zone full of Skittles.
This isn’t the first time Lynch has appeared on Conan. He participated in a pre-Super Bowl “Mortal Kombat” battle with Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
