Matt Flynn took snaps with the number one offense as he prepares to start the first half at Denver in Saturday night's second pre-season game. Flynn and that unit had one tough series during 11 on 11 drills. Matt's first pass intended for Kellen Winslow was swatted away by Richard Sherman. Marshawn Lynch was stuffed on a running play by Leroy Hill. Flynn was sacked on the third down pass play. And Steven Haushka missed a 40 yard field goal try.
The defense had its way most of the session with Earl Thomas picking off a deflected Josh Portis pass and running it back for a score.
Tarvaris Jackson had a few nice throws to Lavasier Tuinei and ran in for a touchdown on a goal line series.

The big news for you Terrell Owens fans came during coach Pete Carroll's post practice media session. T.O. will play Saturday night, and most likely early in the game according to Carroll.
Sidney Rice has practiced all week, but will not play against the Broncos. Carroll isn't sure yet whether Marshawn Lynch will get any carries either.

On the injury front, Walter Thurmond and James Carpenter are still on the physically unable to perform list (pup). Tight end Cameron Morrah missed another practice with a toe injury and is not likely to play Saturday. Several linebackers are out with various injuries, including Matt McCoy (knee), Mike Morgan (concussion), and Malcom Smith. Tight end Zach Miller is out with a concussion.
The offensive line is missing John Moffitt following his elbow surgery. Lemuel Jeanpierre strained his groin in practice this week. That means Max Unger is starting center, with Rishaw Johnson the back-up. Rookie J.R. Sweezy is expected to get plenty of action against the Denver defense playing right guard.

The team has a light workout planned for noon Friday, then heads to Colorado for the second pre-season game. Coach Carroll says he wants the offense to continue to execute well, and for the young quarterbacks to continue to show improvement in a hostile environment.
Carroll and Seattle GM John Schneider flew back to Denver during the off-season in hopes of speaking with Peyton Manning about playing for the Seahawks. Carroll says he's excited to see Manning play for Denver, but isn't sure how much the Broncos will use him in the pre-season game.
