Drugs, property, firearms and cash were seized in King and Pierce counties during a police operation involving eight law enforcement agencies.

Early Friday, Burien detectives served search and arrest warrants on eight homes.

The investigation stemmed from a narcotics case which originated in Burien and led police to mid and high-level drug traffickers, police said.

Drugs and property seized during the raids included more than a pound of heroin, more than four pounds of crystal methamphetamine, liquid synthetic heroin, body armor, multiple firearms, nine vehicles and about $150,000 in cash.

Ten people were arrested and charges are pending on other suspects.

Police said charges will likely include possession with intent to distribute narcotics, conspiracy to deliver narcotics, felon in possession of firearms, and possession of stolen property.

The investigation is ongoing.
